An amazingly original movie, and the only Clive Barker movie that is genuinely scary. A man in search of the most intense experiences possible tracks down an ancient device which can be used to call forth the Cenobites, demons from another dimension. With spectacular makeup effects and a first rate story, Hellraiser is a modern classic.
