The 1980′s were good to John Carpenter, and Prince of Darkness is an often-overlooked example of a good movie that was dated almost immediately. This movie screams “1987″ but is still a damn good horror movie with some interesting ideas. You get an eternal evil locked away in an old church, you get green-slime spewing possessed college students, you get Alice Cooper as a homeless man doing Satan’s will!
