Just wanted to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. Monica has spent the morning baking cookies to take over to Eric and Kristin’s house this afternoon. Tyler and I have spent the morning concocting various schemes to abscond with some cookies fresh from the oven. Mom is spending Thanksgiving with the Altoona-based family at Maria’s house, while Rick and Jilly and family will be at Rick’s, possibly enjoying an unconventional taco bar. Hopefully Joe and Jodi will bring their dog to Rick’s house, and hopefully Anthony will break something expensive while chasing said dog.

To get around the legalities of gambling –some of the local bars have been holding Texas hold’ em tournaments – w/ free entries. A bar/ restaurant in Newark, DE holds a tournament like this every Tues and Thurs –with a small prize of $100 and $35 gift card for the bar.

During today’s game my wife asked over and over, “Who is this guy?!” The Pittsburgh Steelers pulled out a 4th quarter comeback win over the Browns today, largely thanks to rookie receiver Santonio Holmes.
