Movies and cool cars seem to go together like Aerosmith and sappy love songs from big-budget action movies. Which is your favorite?
Here are a few reminders:
- The Blues Brothers – 1974 Dodge Monaco, aka “The Bluesmobile”
- Ferris Bueller’s Day off – 1961 Ferrari 250GT California
- Back to the Future – 1981 DeLorean DMC-12
- Ghostbusters – 1959 Cadillac Ambulance
- Christine – 1958 Plymouth Fury
- The Road Warrior – 1973 Ford Falcon
- National Lampoon’s Vacation – 1983 Ford LTD Country Squire

I would like to add two other options -77 Pontiac Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit and the General Lee -1969 Dodge Charger…
my vote goes to the Ford LTD Country Squire….:)
I like the new Batmobile. Does that count? (Everything except the moving seat to fire the rockets or whatever the hell the moving seat is for.) Oh and the troop carrier in Aliens. (Of course)
Though I will have to cast my vote and say its Christine. A car that repairs itself, is always clean and shiny, AND kills your enemies for you while you sleep? What more can you ask for?
Please name your favorite, my list were just examples.
I’d have to say my favorite car / movie twosome is…WHO GIVES A SHIT !!
Wow Floody. Anger management. I’m sorry there aren’t any movies with noteable minivans in them.
Also, the DeLorean in Back to the Future gets an honorable mention. Come on it’s a DeLorean! I still want one.
76 plymouth volare wagon.
Though this popular model was in several movies which I won’t mention, the one I liked best was Mark does 6th avenue, Directed, produced, and all else by the famous Mike Sisto…
I will try to get the short but long film and upload it!
Just about any James Bond car. My two favorites for him though were the Aston Martin’s used in Die Another Day and Casino Royale
V12 Vanquish and DBS to be exact…… ahhhhhh if Tom only made more money…. LOL!!!!!
You guys are WAY off base!!! Chitty Chitty Bang Bang has my vote!
no Herby the Love bug mentions??
Mine has to be the “A” team van…………….
The best thing about Stallone’s movie Cobra was his sweet 1950 Mercury.
The ultimate muscle car, from ‘Gone in Sixty Seconds’ : 1967 Mustang GT500
Done. Game over. I win.

the car that kurt russell used in “death Proof” from the movie grindhouse….. a blue chevelle, all redone for just racing…. but if i could pick any car from any where, not just a movie, i would have picked k.i.t.t. the knight rider 2000, because that car still is SaWeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
