So -I’m at good ol’ pathmark and there is a buy 1 get TWO free of this crappy brand laundry detergent..but for $6.49 you get like 360oz -so I can’t pass it up. When I get to the register -the monitor behind the cashier looks as though I got charged for two -so I tell her about the promo and point out the mistake. She quickly adjusts my total. Later on my way home I notice on my sales receipt -not one was rang up…
FREE LOUSY LAUNDRY DETERGENT. HOW CAN YOU LOSE?

Last year on the way to an Eagle’s game my friend and I stopped at KFC for our usual bucket of chicken (16 pieces). The manager who waited on us asked is we wanted “Regular” or “Extra Crispy”. We asked if we could split the bucket and the manager said that it was fine. She then proceeded to fill one bucket; got another smaller bucket and filled that; got still another small bucket and filled that one also. My friend and I kept looking at each other but said nothing, for fear of bringing the system to a grinding halt. After paying and upon reaching his car we found out that “splitting in half” to the manager resulted in a doubling of everything. We got 16 pieces of “Regular” and 16 pieces of “Extra Crispy” for the price of one. Beats “crappy” detergent any day!!!
