Every December people look forward to a special day.  It’s a day little kids dream of, having grown up with tales of wonder and glee.  On this day in December all of mankind are brothers anew.  Yes, I am referring to December 23rd, the day of the Annual Amkor Beer Pong Tournament.  This year there was a slight breach of protocol, with the festivities being hosted by George instead of Keeko, who was too tied up with some kind of family Christmas stuff to do the honors.  While Keeko’s betrayal will be remembered forever, the tournament was still a huge success thanks to George and his policy of allowing people into his home/bathroom.

So a few days ago Monica is cooking a turkey breast…  She decides to use the same pyrex pan to make the gravy, but unfortunately the glass bakeware couldn’t handle the heat on the stovetop, it exploded into millions of pieces.  I was looking directly at the glassware when it blew, it was pretty awesome.

We’re flying back to AZ tonight, and it’ll be nice to be back in our crazy pet-filled house.  It was great to spend time with everyone, we really got a lot of visiting in on this trip.  I finally got to see Jilly’s new house, Rick’s new house, Tom and Heather’s new house, etc.  The only thing I still haven’t seen is Ronnie’s cabin, I think I’m going to have to make a special trip back to see it.  I’m also thinking of coming back soon just to take another shot at the poker tournament at the firehouse, thanks to Mike for getting me in on that a few times.  Thanks to everyone for having us, and you can click on the picture of Monica and Mom to see all of the pictures, there are many of them.
