We all play UNO -some more competively than others (you know who I mean -winter of 2001 in Morgantown, the color was made green intentionally). Question (and I have refrained from looking it up so that discussion would ensue)… If you have laid a wild w/ a draw four, were challenged and found to infact have the color being played-what happens next? Do you pick up four cards or six? Does the color change per your request even though you were “cheating”, or does it stay the same?

you pick up 6 cards and color stays the same, no questions. however it is a good move to get rid of the wild card early.
and to finally clear the air MARTIN DID NOT KNOW WHAT COLOR I HAD, THERE WAS NO CHEATING AT ALL, sore losers!!!!

Monica is correct, you draw 6 and the color does not change with the wild. To be fair, I picked green because I thought it was the color Monica most likely needed to go out. But I also maintain that it is not cheating, because there was no way for me to know for sure and I was trying to win money based on the rules as they were provided to me. I’m allowed to pick any color I want.

Martin is an astute UNO player, perhaps the best in the world (not unlike Bunta being the best tracker in the world). I am 100% sure Martin knew what color Monica needed to go out. Why on earth would he pick her color and not his? He only had one card left as well. All things considered; if he picked his appropriate color, it had just as much chance as being Monica’s color as well. Like I said, Martin is very much like Bunta from the award winning “The Last Dinosaur”. His time has past, there are no more, he is the LAST DINO-SAUR!!!
