Sorry about your flight problems, Martin. The wife and I were once stuck in Raleigh on the way back from Disney (Fla.). They told us they were doing something like a 2 million mile check-up on our plane in which they completely take apart the plane and then put it back together. I remember I had a REAL bad feeling about that flight. We were only stranded for about 4 hours though so it wasn’t as bad as your experience.

Quick update: We are waiting around the Charlotte airport. We were supposed to fly at noon, but this place was so full of people I thought at first it was a Nicaraguan refugee camp. The flight was pushed back to 4:50pm and even that is not guaranteed. But we’ll get to Philly sooner or later, things could be worse.

Final update: We finally arrived at 1am, so two full vacation days wasted on the trip from hell. Now I can only hope for some kind of natural disaster on the day we fly back!
